These Terms govern your use of comedyfortheinternet.com (the “Site”), operated by Comedy For The Internet Inc. (“CFTI,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimers. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use the Site or send us anything through it.
2. Using the Site
Use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t interfere with its operation, try to access it in unauthorized ways, scrape it at scale, or use it to send unlawful, harassing, infringing or malicious content.
3. Our content
The Site and everything on it, including shows, characters, artwork, video, text, logos, the room, its design and code, belongs to CFTI or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may watch, play and share links to it. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
4. What you send us
Messages, inquiries and job applications are used only to respond to you and evaluate your request or application, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Creative submissions, such as show ideas, comic clips sent for Cult Comedy Night, or other material you send for us to consider, remain yours. By sending one, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review it and, if you are booked or featured, to use it to promote that appearance. We often develop our own ideas, so sending something doesn’t create any obligation, confidentiality or compensation unless we agree to that in writing.
5. Purchases
Merchandise is sold through our Shopify store. Orders, payment, shipping and returns are governed by the store’s terms at checkout.
6. Other websites
The Site links to and embeds content from other services (YouTube, Vimeo, Shopify, social platforms, CFTI.Agency, Cult Comedy Night). We aren’t responsible for third-party sites, and their own terms apply when you use them.
7. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CFTI won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify CFTI against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or from content you send us.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve it through mediation. Any claim that isn’t resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
11. General
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimers are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. We may update these Terms by posting a new version here; continuing to use the Site means you accept the update.
